The First Tee of the Triangle is committed to providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf, primarily to youth not previously exposed to the game and its associated life skills and positive values

HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
The First Tee of the Triangle began in 2000 as a vision of local developers and “kid advocates” Mike Peebles & Bob Winstead. Originally operating under the nonprofit status of Training Elite Athletes & Mentors, Inc, these gentlemen began the initial planning, performed a large percentage of the initial legwork, and explored various options for programming & facilities.
