The First Tee of the Triangle is able to accept the following types of gifts. Please consult your attorney, accountant, or financial planner for more information.
Charitable Bequests – The First Tee of the Triangle will accept a charitable bequest in a will or testamentary trust.
Beneficiary Designations – The First Tee of the Triangle will accept a beneficiary designation or irrevocable trust, life insurance policy, 401k, or other retirement plan.
Charitable Remainder Trusts – The First Tee of the Triangle will accept designation as a remainder beneficiary of a charitable remainder trust. The First Tee of the Triangle is not in a position to serve as Trustee.
Charitable Lead Trusts – The First Tee of the Triangle will accept designation as an income beneficiary of charitable lead trusts. The First Tee is not in a position to serve as Trustee.
The First Tee of of the Triangle also holds two funds at the Triangle Community Foundation, a board-directed fund and an endowment fund, and we are able to accept gifts directly to those accounts.
